Last week I decided to take on the challenge, issued by fellow sketchers Liz Steel and Marc Holmes, to sketch 100 people in a week. It was actually for March 6th-10th, so it was for only for five days.
Working almost 60 hrs. at my job, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get in all 100, but I wanted to give it a try and push myself to see what I could do. I managed to get them all in, and most were done on location. I did have to cheat a little and use pictures on about 25.
All said and done, I had a blast and will definitely be giving this challenge another go sometime in the near future, maybe even once every quarter.
I met and saw many interesting people during the challenge, and even ran up on a guy practicing on the Great Highland Bagpipes.
A lot of people all around the globe took part in the challenge and you can search out their results on social media using the hashtag #oneweek100people2017.
Here are the results from the week. Let me know if you participated in the challenge, or if you would like to. Would love to hear from you in the comments.
